       1. What is Luxe Library?

Luxe Library is an Irish luxury designer handbag rental service. We give you access to the latest designer handbags to rent for a fraction of the price. All our bags are 100% genuine. You can learn more about us in the About Us section.

       

2. What condition are the bags in?

    All of our bags are either brand new or pre-loved and in mint condition.

     

    3. How do I return my bag?

      Please return the bag in the packaging it arrived in and include the dust bag. Please note returns without the dust bag do not count as full returns. Seal the box with the sticker enclosed. A prepaid postage label and address label will also be enclosed. Stick both on the exterior of the box and bring the parcel to your local post office.

       

       4. Do you cater for last minute bookings?

      Yes we do! Please send us an email with details of the bag you wish to rent and we will do our best to accommodate your booking. This is dependent on bag availability.

       

      5. How long can I rent a bag for?

        We offer rentals on a weekly (7 days) or monthly (30 days) basis. The rental period starts the date the customer selected in the booking and ends when Luxe Library receives the bag back.

         

        6. Do you ship internationally?

          No currently we only ship to Ireland.

           

          7. Do I need to clean the bag?

            No thank you. The bags all require specialist care and cleaning so please leave that to us.

             

             8. Can I extend my rental?

              Yes you can! If you wish to extend your rental, please email us. An extension is subject to the availability of the bag and to pre-payment of the additional rental fee applicable for the period of time of the extension.

               

               9. What happens if I return my bag late?

                You will be charged a late fee for each day after the rental period. If we do not receive the item back within 7 days after the expiration of the rental period, we reserve the right to charge you for the full cost of the bag or commence legal proceedings.

                 

                 10. Can you purchase any of the bags to keep forever?

                  Our bags are only available to borrow. But we get it- you may fall in love! We do sometimes sell off stock to make room in our library. If there is something you are interested in, send us an email.

                   

                  11. How do I know the bag is authentic?

                  All of our bags are 100% authentic. Luxe Library bags are only purchased from the brands themselves or from reputable vendors.

                   12. What happens if my bag is subject to light signs of wear?

                    We ask that you treat the bag that you borrow as if it is your own! However we do understand wear and tear will happen. All of our bags are inspected before and after your rental. We will not charge for normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear includes natural signs of overtime discolouration, minor signs of wear on metal and hardware and natural creasing in the leather. Please note that ink stains cannot be removed and will be charged for accordingly.

                     

                    13. I’ve lost or damaged a bag. What should I do?

                       We understand that accidents happen. Firstly please, contact us immediately and we will try and help to resolve the matter. In case of loss or theft, we ask you to report the matter to the police. Failure to do so may result in us charging you the full cost of replacement. In case of damage, please contact us so we can discuss the extent of the damage and agree the best way forward. In all circumstances, you may be charged for the cost of the bag or the repair. You will however not be held responsible for any damage we class as normal wear and tear. This is at our sole discretion.

                       

                      14. What is the cancellation policy?

                        Cancellations can be made 7 days prior to the start date of your booking in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the drop off day will not be refunded.

                         

                        15. What if you don’t have a bag that I am looking for?

                          We are always adding to our library so chances are we are lusting after it too! Please let us know what it is you are wanting to rent as we acquire new stock on a frequent basis.

                           

                          16. I left something in the bag I returned. What do I do?

                            Luxe Library is not responsible for any personal items left in the bag or postage box. If you believe you have accidentally sent us such items, please contact us as soon as possible.
